Our Strategy

We invest in private-equity investments and traditional publicly-traded financial instruments. We have been able to continue to grow the organization’s capital resources year-after-year since 2007 even during economic downturns.

Private Equity - Co-Investments

To balance safety with risk, our investments in larger private-equity deals are almost always late-stage investments. By having the benefit of a historical track record and having a greater understanding of the strength of the management teams that drive our investment performance, we believe that we are better equipped to leverage our capital with a greater degree of confidence that the investment will meet or exceed our goals. Most co-investments are done in conjunction with larger venture capital firms. By participating in the smaller sub-offerings along with the large VC firms, we know that our capital will receive the stewardship and oversight required to move these companies forward successfully.

Private Equity - Direct Investments/Venture Capital

Westbridge Partners has devoted a portion of its strategic portfolio to making direct investment in venture capital deals where we have a significant stake and influence with management. This influence often is the result of a board seat or position on the management team. We also seek opportunities to leverage our past expertise and experience gained over the years by focusing on industries and businesses where we have significant experience. By balancing these principals and conducting thorough due-diligence and analysis of competitive markets we have found that we can add significant value to start-ups and fledgling companies far beyond providing financial capital alone.

Public Investments

To provide a hedge and to offer liquidity to the portfolio, Westbridge Partners has allocated a portion of its holdings to publicly traded securities and banking instruments.
